Our Waltham Youth and Community Coalition is largely funded by a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Drug Free Communities grant. We also receive funding from The 84 for our anti-tobacco efforts.

Mass General Brigham/Newton-Wellesley Hospital awarded WPY with a four-year grant to lead the Wraparound Waltham collaborative. Newton-Wellesley Hospital has also been a key supporter of our Summer Internship Program and our Interpretation and Translation Apprenticeship Program.
MassHire Provides Funding to Expand Internship Program
We are grateful for our expanding partnership with MassHire Metro South/West. MassHire provides significant funding for our Career Exploration and Training Program, which has allowed us to significantly expand our Summer Internship Program.
WPY Receives Grant From The Cummings Foundation
WPY won a five-year grant from the Cummings Foundation in 2020! Our grant is being used to expand our Career Exploration and Training Efforts, including our High School Summer Internship Program, Interpretation and Translation Apprenticeship Program, and Social Justice in Education Program. WPY Awarded Two More Years of Funding from The Clowes Fund!
After receiving a grant from The Clowes Fund in 2019 to support our Youth Employment Work, we are honored to announce that we have been awarded another two years of funding. Thank you to The Clowes Fund for your continued partnership.
We are grateful for the ongoing support of Boston Children's Hospital. BCH has been a WPY partner since our inception 30 years ago, providing pro bono speakers and clinical support at our events, serving as a member of our Drug Free Communities coalition, and funding several of our mental health initiatives. They are also a key partner in our Summer Internship Program. The hospital's unwavering support has been crucial in ensuring that Waltham youth and families have access to the resources they need to thrive. Thank you, BCH!
